Goodwill Park is a cherished five-acre community park in Holliston, Massachusetts, offering recreational opportunities and gathering spaces for residents of all ages.
This project focused on enhancing the park’s facilities while preserving its historic character and strengthening its role as a valued community destination.
The improvements included the renovation and expansion of the historic stone building, adapting it for use as a recreation center for the town’s summer camp program and additional space for private functions.
A new outdoor patio extends the building’s gathering space into the surrounding park. Other enhancements included a public comfort station with infant changing facilities, paved walkways, seating areas, a water bottle filling station, updated site lighting, and new landscaping.
The project also included the reconstruction of the Vietnam memorial honoring a local resident who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to his country, preserving an important place of remembrance within the park.
Together, these improvements blend historic preservation with modern amenities, creating a more accessible, welcoming, and functional space for the Holliston community to enjoy for years to come.
